DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Students that have thought about becoming a pilot when they grow up could have a chance to see what the career is actually like.

The National Museum of the U.S. Air Force is holding “Introduction to Becoming a Pilot,” a program for students between the ages of 14 and 18.

Dollar General Market proposed for southern Montgomery County

Rather than spending thousands of dollars, students who may think they are interested in being a pilot will fly a simulator to either confirm or deny.

According to the USAF Museum, the free courses can not be used as a course substituted as a for a certified flight instruction program. It also doesn’t provide any level of certification.
