Nike’s Kobe 5 Protro “X-Ray” has finally been given an official on foot look , and the shoe is truly beautiful. On Sunday (July 14), Yankee Kicks uploaded the cleanest look at the kicks yet to their Instagram page. The sneaker, which is set to arrive on Oct. 31, is a low-top cut decorated in a blue and light blue colorway. Pictures show an icy blue sole accenting the wintery hue of the Nike logo on both sides of the sneaker.

However, the true MVP is the “X-Ray” design featured on both feet. An ice-cold skeleton of Kobe’s foot extends from the top of the shoe to the kick’s toe box.

The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “X-Ray” takes its namesake and lore from the “Broken Not Beaten” campaign from 2011. A T-shirt designed by the Oregon company for Bryant featured the athlete’s broken hand wearing his five NBA Championship rings.

Speaking of Halloween release dates, if you’ve been searching for another Nike sneaker for the upcoming spooky season, look no further. Nike recently announced that the Dunk Low “Black Spider-Man” will be released on Oct. 31, exclusively in grade school sizes.

The sneaker, which also goes by the name “Trick or Treat,” features Black tumbled leather on the upper, mudguards, and its heel. A dark obsidian grey is found on the sneaker’s side with a spider web backsplash behind the Nike logo. Additional webs can be found on the toe box with a grey rubber outsole. 3M ties the whole kick together, making them picture-ready for the fit, or costume, checks.

The Nike Kobe Protro 5 “X-Ray” and the Nike Dunk Low “Black Spider-Man” will be released on Oct. 31 for $190 and $90, respectively.
