    CARROLLTON CONTINUES CLEANUP AFTER TUESDAY’S STORMS

    The Town of Carrollton was among the communities hardest hit by Tuesday morning’s severe weather.

    Mayor Susan Bliss says the strong winds knocked down trees and power lines across the city.

    Bliss adds that city staff sprung to action to start cleaning up the damage.

    At its peak, Evergy reported over 3000 customers without power across Carroll, Chariton, and Howard counties. As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, just under 200 customers around Brunswick and Dalton were still without power.
