Pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares Sweet Video Hearing Baby's Heartbeat

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is excited to be a mom and welcome her first child in the new year and is celebrating the milestone by documenting a heartwarming moment in her pregnancy journey.

The 32-year-old Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup star took to her Instagram on Tuesday (July 16) to share a sweet video of her listening to her baby's heartbeat using an at-home fetal heart rate monitor, a popular device for expectant parents to hear their little one's heart without having to go into a doctor's office.

In the short clip, Blanchard can be seen holding the device against her growing baby bump as her unborn child's heart beats in the background. She then excitedly declares "there it is!" with a big smile on her face.

"Hearing our baby's heartbeat with a home doppler 💓," she wrote in the caption, asking her followers to share their thoughts on whether she is having a boy or a girl.

Blanchard revealed she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Ken Urker in a surprise announcement video on her YouTube channel on July 9, sharing that she was 11 weeks pregnant.

"Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January of 2025. We're both very excited," she said, adding, "This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected, but we're both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood."

Blanchard and Urker, who got engaged in 2018 while she was in prison before ultimately calling it off, reunited earlier this year following Blanchard's divorce from ex-husband Ryan Anderson , whom she married in 2022.

In her announcement, Blanchard, a victim of Munchausen by proxy who served time in prison for her role in the 2015 killing of her mother Dee Dee Blanchard , also addressed concerns of whether she was ready to be a mom, getting emotional as she explained that she is to give her child "all the things" she wanted from her own mother.

"All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby," she said, adding, "I am a mother now, I am happy, and I just want to be a good mother for my child. I want to be everything my mother wasn't."
