Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner: I’ve Never Failed A Drug Test

Despite what many believe, Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner denies ever failing a drug test and notes his body changed because of a strict diet.

In WCW, Scott Steiner eventually split from his tag partner, Rick Steiner , to join the NWO . What followed was a dramatic transformation. Scott got new tights, changed his hairstyle and began physically getting larger. The result was a push towards the top, including time as WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

While he looked totally different, it was the size of body mass that got people taking. Even before joining WCW , Scott was always on the larger side. Naturally, many assumed he was on steroids. He denies ever touching the stuff and continued that during an episode of A&E Biography: WWE Legends . “You can make all the accusations you want,” said Steiner. “I’ve never failed a drug test. Take that information and do what you want with it. When I made the transition from Steiner Brothers to Big Poppa Pump, I wanted to get in the best shape I possibly could. A lot of strict diet. Once you are leaner, you’re naturally going to look bigger.”

Now, I doubt many are buying what he is selling. Although, his wording is intersting. He notes about never failing a drug test. Plenty of people take a drug test and pass, even though they should have failed. Cheating the system is not uncommon.

After WCW folded, Scott eventually went to WWE. It was a terrible. After losing a lame feud to Triple H , Scott was pushed towards the bottom. Despite signing with WWE a few months before WrestleMania , he did not even make the show. He was gone quickly and only returned recently to join the WWE Hall of Fame. So,  are you buying that Scott Steiner never failed a drug test and his body is all natural?
