Adele is set to press pause on her music career after her latest series of gigs, admitting she wants a ' break .' The mega-hitmaker, currently in the middle of a weekend residency in Sin City, revealed her plans for a lengthy hiatus post her August tour dates kicking off in Munich.

Chatting with German broadcaster ZDF, Adele confessed, "My tank is quite empty at the minute. I don't have any plans for new music at all." She expressed a desire for a break: "I want a big break after all this and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while."

She even revealed that she doesn't sing at home anymore. "You know, I don't even sing at home at all. How strange is that?," reports the Mirror . Despite her sold-out shows being a hit at Caesar's Palace, with its 4,000 seats, it's not been all smooth sailing for the chart-topping songstress.

Diving into her feelings, Adele admitted, "Even though it's a very manageable size of crowd, it's really been an emotional exchange." With the upcoming performances in Munich on the horizon, she expects an intensified experience: "I'm sure I'll feel even more like (that) every night after the shows in Munich. But it's positive. It's just such an exchange of energy."

Looking back longingly at pre-fame days, she told ZDF, "I miss everything about before I was famous, I think probably being anonymous the most."

Yet she does appreciate the positives, clarifying, "I like that I get to make music all the time, whenever I want to, and people are receptive to it and like it. That's pretty unimaginable. But the fame side of it I absolutely hate. My tank is quite empty at the minute. I don't have any plans for new music at all.

The fact that people are even interested in my songs and my voice is pretty wild. I don't think it ever gets normal. So it's worth it, the balance."

Adele dropped her latest album 30 in November 2021, signalling a return after a five-year hiatus. The album was crafted following her split from husband Simon Konecki. Weekends With Adele kicked off at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in November 2022 and is set to wrap up in November this year.
