Ayo Edebiri gives controversial take on children and expensive restaurants

Ayo Edebiri has given a controversial take on children and expensive restaurants, with the star of The Bear under fire for her comments.

Ayo plays a brilliant chef in the equally brilliant TV show The Bear , so she is well used to being in a kitchen, and she is also well used to some hot takes.

In her most recent comments, she has strayed from the norm when it comes to what people believe about children in fine dining restaurants. She welcomes them.

In a recent interview with IMDB, she said: "One [fine dining rule] that I think is very popular in America but I think outside of America is not really a thing is no kids in restaurants.

"I’m just kind of like ‘let ‘em in’...Maybe not all the time, but it’s like, how else are they going to learn?"

She added that in places like Europe, it's not uncommon to see children in expensive restaurants and it goes some way in teaching them how to act in those situations.

Edebiri who was born and raised in Boston , has jokingly referenced her ‘irish roots’ and ‘family in Ireland’ many times in interviews.
