The Weeknd has announced a special, “one-night-only” concert featuring an all-new show in Brazil taking place on September 7.

The concert, which will take place at Sao Paulo’s Estádio MorumBIS and is produced by Live Nation, will debut a “never-before-seen production,” according to the announcement. The Weekend has largely been off the radar since completing his “ After Hours Til Dawn” tour of North America and Europe last year and starring in “The Idol” last summer. The stadium tour played to more than 3 million people over two years.

No further information was announced although it seems likely that new music is in the offing, and the concert will mark the launch of his next musical chapter.

Tickets are available starting Monday, July 22, with Artist Presale General Onsale Begins Thursday, July 25 at 10am BRT. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Thursday, July 25 at 10am BRT.

Continuing the Weeknd’s extensive philanthropic work, as a United Nations World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador he will again partner with the U.N. World Food Programme to contribute funds from the São Paulo show to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the organization’s response to the global hunger crisis. $1 local equivalent from each ticket sold will go to this cause.

While “The Idol” received decidedly mixed reviews, it also features several new original songs from the Weeknd, and he s poke very broadly with Variety last year about what his next chapter might look like, as it will follow his “After Hours” and “Dawn FM” albums.

“I’m finishing the third part of this of this saga, of this trilogy,” he said. The name of it will come out soon, but it’s not called what some fans think it’s called… what they think it’s called is actually a song on the album, but that’s not what the actual album is called. [It’s unclear which speculative title he’s referring to.] So I’m just gonna say that.”
