LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A person had to be freed by emergency crews after a car crashed into a home in Lancaster County Tuesday.

According to a Facebook post from Robert Fulton Fire Company, crews made their way to a home along the 100 block of Pilottown Road in Fulton Township for a reported vehicle accident with the vehicle crashing into a dwelling with entrapment just before 7 p.m.

Photos from the scene below show a red car that went into the side of a home, causing significant damage to the building.

After arriving, crews went to work to free the trapped person by removing both passenger side doors and the roof. According to the post, it took crews about an hour and a half to clear the scene.

The vehicle was removed once Pennsylvania State Police completed their crash investigation. Neighbors and family members helped crews secure the residence once the car was removed.
