Both Ivanka Trump and former first lady Melania Trump will be at the Republican National Convention despite neither having a speaking role or having been seen at the event so far, according to former President Donald Trump ’s son Eric .

“They’re coming in,” Eric Trump said on CBS Mornings when asked about their whereabouts.

“They’re coming in full force and effect, so they’ll certainly be here,” he continued. Neither has a scheduled speaking role.

In 2022, Ivanka Trump left politics and said she did not plan on being involved with politics in the future in order to focus on her family and children “and the private life we are creating as a family.”

“Ivanka’s been an incredible supporter of my father. I think you know that. She’s been in the White House for a four-year period of time and loves him dearly, and obviously Melania as well,” Eric Trump said.

Melania Trump has also been relatively quiet since she left the White House. She has hardly been seen with Donald Trump at campaign events and did not come to the presidential debate as first lady Jill Biden did. Melania Trump’s latest appearance on the campaign trail was at a fundraiser for the Log Cabin Republicans, her second of this election cycle.
