Raise your hand if you have ever felt personally attacked by an interior designer on social media. Don't worry, you're not alone. This video is particular called us out!

It feels like every single day we learn another unsaid rule about interior design and this video is exception. Apparently, there are a few things that immediately signify a "cheap" aesthetic to this designer and I don't know about you, but we are definitely guilty of some of these.

If you're looking for that ultra lux aesthetic and you want to make some changes in your space, then check out the video below to see where to begin.

If there is one thing that TikTok creator Bilal Rehman ( @bilalrehmanstudio ) is not afraid to do, it's tell the honest truth about interior design.

This designer is known for telling it like it is about decorating a space and he immediately makes us second guess all of the choices we've ever made. In this video, Bilal reveals several popular home trends that he sees all the time and simply cannot stand. Specifically, he says that these choices can make your home look "cheap" and if you're looking for that super lux home aesthetic, then you're definitely going to want to listen up. He is not a fan of these!

Here's How You Should Never Arrange Your Living Room

When it comes to positioning furniture in your living room, a lot of us want to create the illusion that we have more space than we do. To do this, we usually end up putting every piece of furniture up against the four walls, hoping that the larger floor space will give the illusion we are looking for. However, according to Bilal, this decision is making our spaces look cheap.

"You might think that this is making your space feel bigger," Bilal says. "But in actuality, it's doing the opposite. It's making your space feel much smaller."

(He comes it to shoving all of your furniture against the wall in order to perform a dance for your family when you're six years old and honestly he's not wrong.)

"Instead, float your pieces in your space," suggests Bilal. "It creates a way better flow and seems like a more intentional space plan."
