    KYTC’s high water report for July 17, 2024

    HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) released its high water report for July 17.

    Officials say this is the report as of 2:30 p.m. The status of the following roads are:

    Daviess County

    • KY 1207 to Burnes Road closed due for  water
    • KY 2127 from 0.5-1 mm closed for high water

    Hopkins County

    • U.S. 41A between the 11.5-12 mm open with high water
    • KY 1034 between 7-8 mm open with high water
    • KY 2281 between 0-1 mm open with high water

    Webster County

    • KY 120 between 10-11 mm open with high water signs
    • KY 138 between 10-10.4 closed for high water
    • KY 270 between 6.8-8.3 closed for high water

    The KYTC notes high water has now receded from I-69, U.S. 41, KY 138, KY 254, KY 281 and KY 862 in Hopkins County, as well as U.S. 62 and KY 2670  in Ohio County.

    Hopkins County

    • I-69 between the 110-111 mm open with high water
    • U.S. 41 between 17-18 mm open with high water
    • U.S. 41A between the 11.5-12 mm open with high water
    • KY 138  between 0-1 mm open with high water
    • KY 254 between 1-6 mm open with high water
    • KY 281 between 2-3 mm open with high water
    • KY 862 between 2-3 mm open with high water
    • KY 1043 between 7-8 mm open with high water
    • KY 2281 between 0-1 mm open with high water

    Webster County

    • KY 120 between 10-11 mm open with high water signs
    • KY 138 between 10-10.4 closed for high water
    • KY 270 between 6.8-8.3 closed for high water
    KSP to close part of I-69 NB near Slaughters Thursday

    The KYTC notes high water signs on U.S. 62 and KY 2670  in Ohio County have now been removed.
