Vivid Seats is the New York Post’s official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase.

Phish frontman Trey Anastasio has been making the rounds.

Ahead of the jam band’s summer tour, the redheaded guitarist and singer-songwriter released the group’s new studio album “Evolve,” took part in a candid conversation on Marc Maron ‘s WTF podcast and dropped into NPR for a triumphant, 35-minute Tiny Desk Concert.

And, now that the marketing push is out of the way, Trey and Phish will do what they do they best and finally play live this summer.

From July 19 through Sept. 1, the legendary, improvisatory quartet have multi-day stints — where no two shows will be the same — lined up at arenas, arts centers, speedways, parks and theatres all over North America.

That includes a three-night run at Bethel, NY’s Bethel Woods Center For The Arts from Aug. 9-11.

Given how life-altering Phish’s shows are — in April, Drew Carey said “I met God tonight” after attending one of their Sphere gigs — last-minute tickets are surprisingly inexpensive.

At the time of publication, our team found single-day tickets going for as low as $29 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Multi-day passes start at $78 before fees .

Not bad considering the cheapest tickets to see the band at Las Vegas’ Sphere this past April were a whopping $463 before fees .

    Phish set list

Part of the fun of seeing Phish live is the surprises the band has in store for fans.

Still, it can’t hurt to take a peek at what made the cut recently.

For a closer look, here’s the complete history of what Phish has played live — dating back to 1983 (!) — check out Set List FM .

    Phish new music

On July 12, Phish dropped their 16th studio album “Evolve.”

Over 12 tracks, as expected, the band completely surprises. No two songs are alike here; their only connection are the in sync players.

Personally, we were most taken with the slinky, bass-y, mysterious “Hey Stranger,” upbeat toe-tapper “A Wave Of Hope” and the slow burning “Monsters.”

Be sure to try the restrained Beatles-esque “Valdese,” too. It’s impossible not to smile while listening.

What’s it like to see Phish live

In December 2023, we spoke with comedian and Phan Max Fine about what it’s like to be at a Phish concert.

“It’s not like anything you’ve ever seen because it’s never happened before,” he explained.

“Every show is special and unique because they don’t plan for it. You get to be whoever you want at a Phish show.”

For more about the live experience, check out our conversation with Fine here .
