Tom Sandoval’s Attorney for Ariana Madix Lawsuit Is Rachel Leviss’ Lawyer’s Brother

Scandoval is the gift that just keeps on giving. But it’s one of those gifts you immediately want to give back, at this point. News broke this morning that Tom Sandoval is suing his former girlfriend, Ariana Madix , for sharing a video without his permission. The video in question is, of course, the explicit video of Rachel Leviss Sandoval allegedly took without her consent. Ugh. But even stranger, is both Sandoval and Rachel’s attorneys have a familial tie.

When Ariana discovered the video in Tom’s phone in March 2023, she allegedly sent a copy to herself. She also allegedly sent a copy to Rachel, and Rachel’s camp believe Ariana possibly sent it to other people.

We all know that Rachel filed suit against Tom and Ariana on February 29, 2024. In her suit, she accused the Love Island host of revenge porn, eavesdropping, and invasion of privacy.

But when the announcement of Tom’s suit against his former girlfriend came out this morning, things took an unexpected twist. Apparently, Tom’s attorney, Matthew Geragos, is the brother of Rachel’s attorney, celebrity barrister Mark Geragos. Small world, I guess. Matthew Geragos provided a statement to Us Weekly in the very early morning hours of July 17.

“While Tom Sandoval accepts responsibility for his affair, he strongly denies the allegations of the lawsuit filed by Rachel Leviss against him and Ms. Madix,” the statement read. “In order to ensure a fair and just determination of responsibility among all parties involved, we filed a cross complaint on behalf of Mr. Sandoval. This customary legal action was crucial to ensure that liability, if any, is fairly distributed based on the actual level of involvement and fault of each party. We aim to resolve this legal dispute with utmost respect towards all parties involved.”

Following Rachel’s lawsuit against Tom and Ariana in February, Sandoval later countersued Rachel in April. Tom claimed Rachel’s suit was “a thinly veiled attempt to extend her fame and to rebrand herself as the victim.” Later that month, he also requested that Rachel’s suit be dismissed.

Meanwhile, Ariana filed her own countersuit against Rachel, claiming she was seeking to “punish” and “blame Ms. Madix for the negative reaction [she] received as a result of her affair.”
