Billy Ray Cyrus was handed a legal victory amid his contentious divorce from Firerose.

According to court docs obtained by ET, earlier this month, a Tennessee judge ruled that "there is no legitimate reason" for Firerose "to have access to and to make any additional charges" on Cyrus' credit cards.

The docs also show that Cyrus and Firerose were told to "exchange income and expense statements as well as asset and liability statements, with proposed division" by July 11. The court additionally ruled that Cyrus and Firerose "engage in good faith mediation" by Aug. 31, according to the docs.

Cyrus and Firerose tied the knot in October 2023. When Cyrus filed for divorce less than a year later, he cited the reason for the dissolution of the marriage as "irreconcilable differences" and "inappropriate marital conduct." Under "Grounds for Annulment," Cyrus noted "consent to Marriage was obtained by Fraud."

Shortly thereafter, Cyrus, 62, filed an emergency motion to keep Firerose from "unauthorized" use of his finances. Cyrus did so because he claimed that, after he filed for divorce on May 23, Firerose spent more than $96,000 of his money.

Firerose, whose real name is Johanna Rose Hodges, denied the accusation in court docs of her own, which read, "Throughout the divorce proceedings, the parties are to live as per the status quo during the marriage. Wife was simply living as she has since October 10, 2023, and Husband has no right to cut her off."

Firerose, 36, additionally claimed that Cyrus wasemotionally, psychologically and verbally abusive throughout their marriage.

Cyrus' lawyers, Rose Palermo and Jason Talley of Cheatham Palermo and Garrett, refuted the allegations in a statement to ET and leveled some claims of their own.

"The allegations that Ms. Hodges states in her answer and counter-complaint are especially confusing and suspicious in its veracity since she begged Mr. Cyrus to forgive her and take her back only 2 days after he filed his pleadings to dissolve his marriage," the statement read in part. "...If Mr. Cyrus was truly guilty of the allegations that Ms. Hodges alleges in her pleadings, then it is mindboggling to try and explain why she would want to return to live with him."

Cyrus further responded to Firerose's claims in June court docs, alleging that it was the Hannah Montana star who was verbally, emotionally and physically abused by his estranged wife.

Firerose later claimed in an interview with Page Six that Cyrus "had very strict rules" throughout their marriage and could be "illogical and insane and terrifying."

While Cyrus' rep had no comment on those claims, the "Achy Break Heart" singer seemingly addressed them on Instagram when he captioned a photo, "Happy Sunday everybody! Don't believe I've ever heard the word LIAR this much on Sunday morning. I'm sure very soon the truth will be revealed."
