Joel Embiid's struggles continue as Team USA dominates Nikola Jokic, Serbia

Team USA had no problems taking care of business in Wednesday's exhibition against Serbia, but one of their superstars continues to struggle.

Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid remains the victim of criticism on social media for his shaky play. His matchup against three-time MVP Nikola Jokic was anticipated as one of the best of the Olympics, but neither met their expectations. The Sixers center recorded 8 points and 8 rebounds on 25% shooting while Jokic concluded with a team-low -27 +/- to go along with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

It's very possible this is one of Embiid's final games in the starting lineup, considering the dominance of Miami Heat's Bam Adebayo and Los Angeles Lakers' Anthony Davis. USA coach Steve Kerr has shared on numerous occasions his desire to experiment with the starting five. Although fans will continue to grill Embiid in the coming days, it's hard to imagine the former MVP won't find his rhythm soon.

The USA's next matchup comes against South Sudan on July 20.
