    GALLERY: Covington County DYW program to be held Saturday at LBW Dixon Center

    The Covington County Distinguished Young Women Program will be held on Saturday, July 20, at LBW Community College’s Dixon Center for the Performing Arts with two shows at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

    This year’s theme is “Unstoppable.” The participants will be split into two groups. Group A will include participants 1-9 and Group B will include participants 11-18. Both shows will include an opening number and the Little Sisters.

    Group A will perform Fitness and Self Expression and Group B will perform Talent at 2 p.m. This show will also include a performance by the Distinguished Darlings.

    Group A will perform Talent and Group B will perform Fitness and Self Expression at 6 p.m. Awards and the announcement of the Distinguished Young Woman of Covington County 2025 will be announced at the conclusion of Saturday night’s show.

    Group A will include Ada Blackstock, Haylee Booth, Karis Dubose, Lily Jo Elmore, Kayden Lord, Amber Nguyen, Graycie Sansom, Maecy Starnes, and Kinsley Stovall.

    Group B will include Brittan Bennett, Elizabeth Carroll, Virginia Jeter, Sarah Katherine Reese, Alyson Richburg, Lexi Stallworth, Ella Ward, K’lyasia Woods, and Shambresha Woods.

    Tickets will be $15 per show and may be purchased at the door. Doors will open one hour prior to each show. There will be no reserved seats.
