    MIDDLESEX, NJ - The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for 12 counties in New Jersey, including Sayreville, South Amboy, and other Middlesex County towns, until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.

    Showers with thunderstorms are likely for this evening. Some thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds and small hail. Heavy rainfall is possible with southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph.

    Rainfall is expected to reach 1 inch to 1.15 inches and last until 1:00 a.m. Thursday.
