Pup Who Was Trapped In Barn Without Food Or Water Now Searching For Home

    2024-07-18

(MA) Meet Reba, a 3-year-old Chocolate Lab, and American Bulldog mix pup who was recently rescued from a potentially devastating situation. This poor pup was found abandoned in a farmer's barn in the "middle of nowhere". To make things even worse, the door was shut trapping her inside. There was no food, and even scarier considering the recent summer heat, no water. Luckily, a good samaritan found her and Reba is now living safely with a foster. I have it on good authority though that she would be happier living with you!

    More Information On Reba

Reba is a 3-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever and American Bulldog mix pup who weighs, as of 7/17/24, approximately 60 pounds. She has a short coat length, which is chocolate/brown in color. Reba is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, is a sweet and loving couch potato who is happiest when she is lounging around. From the couch to her dog bed, to her human's bed, Reba is always down for a snuggle or a nap. Despite her laziness, Reba also enjoys playing, especially with the three other dogs in her foster home.

As far as training goes, Reba has done great with housebreaking and does well in and out of her crate. She does well in the car and loves going on rides. Also, since she shows a little too much interest in her foster's outdoor cat, Great Dog Rescue New England recommends she goes to a home without cats."

"Reba checks all the boxes and will make one lucky family incredibly happy!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

    How Can You Help Reba?

If you are interested in adopting Reba, please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. She is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Reba's Petfinder profiles: www.petfinder.com/dog/reba
