Mariska Hargitay posed for a couple of photos with two of her Law & Order: Special Victims Unit co-stars during a recent day at the beach.
The SVU star took in some sun last weekend while attending an annual event in support of the Joyful Heart Foundation , the organization she founded in 2004. As seen in photos that she shared on Instagram on Tuesday, July 16, Kelli Giddish and Peter Scanavino were also in attendance.
“My peeps coming out to support our 5th annual JHF Beachwalk,” Hargitay, 60, wrote in her heartfelt Instagram caption. “These two always have my back. And I have theirs.”
In the first of two photos that Hargitay shared in her post, she flashed a big smile at a camera as she wrapped one arm each around Giddish, 44, and Scanavino, 44. For the outing, Hargitay wore a navy blue tank top and olive green pants, which she paired with a woven straw-colored beach hat and white-rimmed sunglasses.
Scanavino, who joined SVU ’s main cast in Season 16 and currently plays Assistant District Attorney Dominick Carisi, wore a light blue button-down shirt, the sleeves of which he had rolled up to his elbows, and navy blue pants. Like Hargitay, he used both a hat and pair of sunglasses to keep the sun out of his eyes as he smiled for the camera.
Giddish, who was part of the police procedural’s main cast as Detective Amanda Rollins from Seasons 13 through 24, also wore a big smile on her face as she posed with her fellow SVU stars. She paired a pink button-down shirt with light-wash denim shorts and dark sunglasses.
The second photo that Hargitay included in her post showed the three from behind as they walked along the beach, with Hargitay placing a hand on each of their shoulders to guide them forward.
Fans who left comments on the post gushed over their “favorite trio,” with one person dubbing them “Friend Squad GOALS 🫶🏽.”
“I really don't think there is a better trio than the three of you!! You three are magical together both on and off screen! 🥰❤️,” one fan wrote.
Law & Order ’s official Instagram account also left a sweet comment on the post, writing, “framing this ❤️.”
Several of SVU ’s dedicated viewers were thrilled to see Hargitay, Scanavino and Giddish reuniting offscreen, though many wished that they would do the same on the show.
“The best trio ever 👏🔥 please keep her on the show permanently. I miss Rollins,” one person wrote as another agreed, writing, “We need Kelli back for season 26😭.”
“I hope See Kelli in SVU26👏🏼,” another fan wished.
