Tom Kim is deadly accurate off the tee and loves to flight his ball low to stay under the wind.

It's been a quiet week for our Look of the Day series due to the MLB All-Star break, but we're jumping back into the action with an overnight golf pick for the first round of the British Open. Let's target a Round 1 prop bet and wake up to a winner.

Look of the Day: Tom Kim over 3.5 birdies or better in Round 1 (-115 DraftKings )

We're looking to back Kim to get off to a solid start at Royal Troon Golf Club, as the South Korean has been one of the best links players in the world over the past few years.

Kim finished T6 at the Genesis Scottish Open last season, and he followed that up with a runner-up finish at the British Open despite shooting 74 in the first round. He returned to The Renaissance Club last week and finished T15 at the Genesis Scottish Open, birdieing seven of his last 13 holes on Sunday to build some momentum heading into the final major of the year.

Kim is the perfect links player because he's deadly accurate off the tee and loves to flight his ball low to stay under the wind. The 22-year-old ranks 13th on the PGA Tour this season in driving accuracy and fifth in distance from edge of fairway, meaning his misses off the tee don't miss by much. That's going to be crucial at Royal Troon because the farther you are from these fairways, the more trouble you can find.

As for the weather draw, Kim caught a break in the first round with a morning tee time. It will still be rainy and breezy in Scotland, as it usually is, but the more severe weather won't arrive near the golf course until later in the afternoon. Kim will be playing some of the easiest holes on the course (1-6) in the most benign conditions of the day, so he'll be aggressive right out of the gates.
