A top Dublin restaurant rolled out the red carpet for a posse of A-listers over the weekend. The city's famous Trocadero eatery on St Andrew's Street played host to none other than Hollywood sensation Paul Rudd .

The Killers' Brandon Flowers, Travis' Fran Healy, and visionary director Tim Burton also stopped by. Rudd is currently in Dublin shooting for his upcoming musical comedy flick, Power ballad, a project by John Carney, renowned for the Oscar-winning films Once and Sing Street.

Carney, alongside Peter McDonald, penned the laugh fest which follows the antics of a wedding singer (portrayed by Rudd), a rock deity (played by Nick Jonas ), and a song that spells trouble for the pair.

Pop heartthrob turned actor Nick Jonas , who initially shot to stardom with The Jonas Brothers, made a splash in Ireland just before Rudd dropped in.

Trocadero staff were chuffed to bits having the celebs graze at their venue, even sharing snaps on Instagram with the caption: "What a weekend for celebrities !

"We had the pleasure of the actor, Paul Rudd, Brandon Flowers from The Killers, Fran Healy from Travis and the amazing filmmaker , Tim Burton was also in, but managed to escape our camera!"

Customers couldn't believe their eyes. One commented: "Paul and Brandon! You lucky, lucky people!" and a second scribed: "Ageless Paul Rudd!" A third chimed in: "Ageless Paul Rudd!" while a fourth concluded: "No better place!"

Trocadero "prides itself" on being the Irish capital's theatre restaurants and claims to have "attracted stars of the stage and screen" for over six decades thanks to the "excellent food and wonderful atmosphere."

Brenda Fricker, the Irish actress best known as the Pigeon Lady in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York wrote on the Trocadero website: "I will always remember The Troc for their loyalty. They gave me a little party when I won the Oscar . Should my last supper be at The Troc, I’d like it to start with a table top dance with Robert and Frank."
