Passaic County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Warrant Sweep Results in Four Arrests

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ - Members of the Passaic County Sheriff's Office, Fugitive Warrant Squad, conducted a "high risk fugitive warrant sweep" on Tuesday, resulting in four arrests.

Rockquan Richburg, 22, was arrested in Jersey City and charged with Armed Robbery while Carlton P Hocutt, 30, was arrested in Paterson and charged with Robbery.

Wanted in connection with a July 5 shooting which left one man with a gunshot wound, Jhon Garcia, 29, was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder and Gun Possession. Luis Taveras-Encarnacion, 27, a fugutive from Georgia, was arrested and charged with Theft.

“It is important that fugitives from justice are apprehended and face punishment,” said Acting Sheriff Gary Giardina. “I want to thank the Detectives and Officers involved in this important operation.”
