“There were things, like, he doesn’t want any more kids [and] I probably do want more kids,” she noted.
Aurora shares two young children with her ex-husband, Michael Bortone, from whom she filed for divorce in April 2022 after he refused to change his cheating ways .
“Our communication style was so different,” she added about the downfall of her relationship with Bernon. “I’m not someone who can give space when someone feels hurt. Like, I need to talk about things right away.”
While she admitted to feeling “disappointed” about the breakup, Aurora said she knew they were not “compatible” in the long run. auroraculpo/Instagram She went on to describe Bernon as a “nice,” “generous” and “sweet” man. auroraculpo/Instagram
“We’re not compatible and I would have known that had I let the relationship move at a logical pace, but that’s not how I operate,” she confessed.
And while their relationship didn’t work out, Aurora said she is still fond of the film producer as a person.
“He’s such a nice guy. He’s sweet. He’s generous. He’s a great dad. Super funny,” she gushed on her podcast.
Aurora also claimed that she and Bernon decided that he should not attend Olivia’s lavish wedding to NFL star Christian McCaffrey on June 29. Jose Villa “He didn’t want to come and I didn’t want him to come and that was fine and it was nothing personal,” she reasoned. Jose Villa
“Just because we can’t be together doesn’t mean that I’m mad at him or doesn’t mean that I don’t still think he is an amazing person, because he is.”
As for why Bernon didn’t attend Olivia’s stunning Rhode Island ceremony, it wasn’t necessarily because he was barred from coming.
Aurora said neither of them felt it was right for him to attend because their relationship was so new.
Aurora was married to Michael Bortone. They split in 2022. They share two young kids.
“Paul and I had decided that he wasn’t going to come to the wedding because it was new,” she divulged.
“I had a lot of responsibility with my kids there. He didn’t know anybody yet. He didn’t want to come and I didn’t want him to come and that was fine and it was nothing personal.”
However, the self-described beauty guru said Bernon met her family during a day at the beach ahead of Olivia and McCaffrey’s wedding.
