Ugandan children have reenacted the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump , a video showed.

The assassination attempt against Trump at a Butler, Pennsylvania, rally on Saturday sent shockwaves not only around the United States but the world as well. One of the most unique reactions came from Uganda, with a video published on social media showing a group of 12 Ugandan children reenacting the assassination attempt.

Five of the children, two armed with sticks in the shape of rifles, stood behind the child playing the former president, who was speaking at a "podium" made of three crates with a microphone-shaped object on top.

The actions of the children were synched closely with the audio, with "Trump" grabbing his ear as the shots were fired, ducking, then being escorted away by the "Secret Service," pumping his fist in defiance.

The video went viral on social media, with many American observers finding the video humorous or inspirational. Several conservative commentators were inspired by the display, including conservative author Dinesh D'Souza.

"Children reenact the Trump shooting," he said in a post on X. "Incredible! The man is already becoming a global legend. Watch!"

Former Trump adviser Sebastian Gorka also expressed appreciation for the display.

"Children in Uganda recreate the mythic and forever moment President Trump was shot," he wrote in a post on X. "The Left will never be able to hide what happened."

The attempt on Trump's life sparked a variety of unusual reactions around the world, including many memes from America's traditional adversaries. AsiaNews reported a deluge of memes from Chinese users, often portraying the former president, "Comrade Jianguo" (Comrade Building the Country), as a member of the Chinese Communist Party.

“The bullet pierced my ear, but I can still hear the voice of the Party,” one message on the Chinese social media platform Weibo read, along with a photo of Trump in a Chinese military uniform.

Some Russian soldiers fighting in Ukraine wrote messages on shells and missiles referencing the assassination attempt, including "[Insult for Ukrainians], you'll answer for Trump," "For Trump," and "For Trump's ear!"
