Pug's Impatience Over His Birthday Cake Being Ready Is the Cutest Little Mood

A birthday pug is happy to celebrate his 8th birthday but he's very impatient when he needs to wait for his birthday cake, and it's adorable.

On July 16, 2024, TikTok user Mr. Biggie Bear (@mr.biggiebear) shared a video of a sweet pug who acted exactly as he wanted to on his birthday. Take a look!

In a quick 14-second video , we meet Mr. Biggie Bear, who was celebrating his 8th birthday with a delicious-looking cake.

"POV: Just turned 8 and now you have to wait for dDadi to put all 8 candles on the cake," the text on the video reads.

In the clip, we see what looks like a big chunk of watermelon in the shape of a small cake. Blueberries, cucumbers, and what looks like walnuts are on the watermelon as decorations. Dad is putting the candles on top, and it's a really unique birthday cake.

But then you see in the back, right behind the cake on the other side of the table, a really cute Pug named Mr. Biggie Bear who is wearing a birthday hat that has the number 8 listed on it.

He looks very impatient. He intensely stares at his dad, looking like he's absolutely ready to eat that cake and wants his dad to hurry up.

You can see the Pug tracking his dad's hand as he places each candle, and his little nose wiggles, smelling the cake and wishing he could eat it already.

"I don't have all day," the text in the caption reads. "Before you know it, I'll be 9!"

In the comments, people had a good time giggling at the dog being so impatient but fully understanding why.

Pugs Are Known for Their Silly and Serious Personality

According to Hill's Pet, Pugs are serious and silly, giving them an interesting personality.

"They are a bit more serious, with a dry sense of humor. The breed motto is 'multum in parvo,' meaning a lot in a little, with plenty of dog in a small package," the experts explain. "Pugs can be stubborn but normally want to please."

They're companion dogs, which means they love to be around people and are good with other dogs. Pugs are described as "fairly laid-back dogs," but apparently not if they're in front of a cake for their birthday and are tired of waiting for the formality of it all.
