Justin Long Once Pooped The Bed With Wife Kate Bosworth Sleeping Beside Him

It seems Kate Bosworth had to turn the other cheek – quite literally – after her husband Justin Long pooped in their bed.

During a recent appearance on the “PIE With Kurt Sutter and Katey Sagal” podcast , the “Barbarian” star, 46, recalled getting food poisoning on a trip to Mexico City with Bosworth, 41, that left him “comically unloading” to the point where he awoke to a foul surprise in the bed they were sharing.

“I was hooked up to an IV, and [Kate] was having to follow me to the bathroom with the thing,” he explained in the episode that aired Tuesday. “It was like ‘Dumb and Dumber.’”

“I was just, like, really comically unloading, and then, at one point that night, I woke up, and there’s no other way to say this, I can’t dance around it: I had shit the bed. I had shit the bed, and she was in the bed,” Long continued.

What’s more, Long said, Bosworth’s reaction to the embarrassing moment was “really romantic.”

“She was, like, two feet away from me with this IV bag,” Long said of how she nursed him back to health. “And she was holding it so patiently, and she was like: ‘Everything’s fine.’ And I thought about how much I loved her. I was like: ‘I just love this person, I’m so grateful to this person.’”

The comedian said the vulnerable moment left him in awe of Bosworth’s kind heart.

“She was not judging, not making me feel weird, or bad, and I just felt so lucky, you know?” he recalled. “I was shitting my brains out, and she was looking at me lovingly, and I thought: ‘This is really romantic.’”

Long revealed he was eventually able to clean himself up, but what happened next was something even Bosworth apparently couldn’t overlook.

“She convinced me to take a shower after, you know, shitting the bed,” he said. “You know where all you want to do is be in bed? But I got myself in the shower, I cleaned off, and then she was on the phone with the doctor, and she saw me.”

Long continued, “I could count on one hand how many times she’s had a judgmental approach to something that I was doing. But I saw her watch me get into bed, back into bed, into the same bed, onto my side. I was avoiding the spot, but I was still getting back into my filth.”

Long didn’t specify when their trip to Mexico City took place.

The “Dodgeball” actor tied the knot with the “Blue Crush” star in May 2023.

Last year, Long opened up about the moment he knew Bosworth was the one.

“When I met her, it was a real sense of knowing that I never had before,” the actor said during an appearance on “ Live with Kelly and Mark ” in November 2023.

Long clarified that he had heard of clichés such as “when you know, you know,” but added: “Then they become, like, immediately true.”
