Livvy Dunne trolls Paul Skenes’ low-energy effort for her TikTok

Paul Skenes may be high-energy on the mound, but when it comes to appearing in girlfriend Olivia “Livvy” Dunne’s TikTok videos, he doesn’t seem to enjoy it as much.

But don’t worry, Dunne doesn’t mind and has had a good sense of humor about it after a social media user pointed it out on one of her latest posts on the popular platform.

In a video posted Monday from the private jet Skenes and Dunne took to the MLB All-Star Game in Arlington, Texas, the Pirates pitcher put in minimal effort as the LSU gymnast and social media influencer enthusiastically mouthed the words of the audio that accompanied the post.

The two vibes from the couple led one person to comment: “That’s probably the most effort he could give. Way to go Paul.”

The playful jab was punctuated with a crying laughing emoji.

Dunne responded: “He doesn’t know how to tik the tok.”

Skenes has been featured in several of Dunne’s TikTok posts, the platform where she boasts 8 million followers, including one where she decorated the right-hander’s apartment with balloons and bought pizza to celebrate his selection to the MLB All-Star Game.

She also posted one in May with Skenes with the caption: “POV: you both wake up from a nap and find out he’s in the MLB.”

Dunne was on hand for MLB All-Star festivities, where she dazzled on the red carpet ahead of the game alongside a stylish-looking Skenes and she was spotted cheering him on during his one inning on the mound .

The Pittsburgh rookie threw seven pitches at 98.2 mph or harder in his first All-Star Game, five of which were 99.6 mph or faster.

Before the All-Star Game, Dunne echoed a sentiment felt by a slew of baseball fans over just how hard Skenes can throw.

“My brain can’t even process how hard he throws,” Dunne said on the red carpet. “It is incredible and it’s such a joy to watch.

“He’s a great baseball player, but an even better person.”
