Man's Hits the Jackpot with Coolest Mid-Century Modern Thrift Find

Every single time we see someone score an amazing find at a thrift store we start day dreaming about what our ultimate get would be. Would we want to find a priceless heirloom? Maybe one of those items that are such a blast from the past that they fill us with nostalgia? How about something that just isn't on the market anymore like one of those vintage refrigerators?

Well, after seeing one man's amazing purchase at his local secondhand shop we have a new item we'll be crossing our fingers for every time we cross through those hallowed doors: a ceramic jaguar.

Take a look at this massive cat statue one thrifter picked up and learn a little bit about how fun these black cat pieces can be.

The ceramic kitty found by @ben__shack does sound like an absolutely amazing deal, since he says that he only paid $150 for the item that usually sells for up to $700 when listed by third-party sellers.

That's not only a huge discount, but very lucky, since it sounds like the partner to this statue met an unfortunate fate and broke in the thrift store before it could be sold.

But the OP isn't letting that get him down, other than being "hyped" he is ready to go home and find the perfect spot for this ceramic statue that he told his followers he is absolutely never going to get rid of.

In fact, we wonder if the OP knows the woman from this video who found her own jackpot kitty statue. Only her piece isn't a standalone option, instead it's the base for the most amazing coffee table we've ever seen.

Now, the OP's cat did look like it was in mint condition, and this woman's find definitely needed a little TLC, but in the end they were both super lucky to find these holy grail items while shopping the sales.

We hope they find each other one day and get a chance to check out what the other one did with the pieces!
