TROUP COUNTY, Ga. ( WRBL ) — The beginning of the school year is around the corner, and Communities In Schools of Georgia in Troup County is trying to make sure students have what they need for success.

The CISG in Troup County launched its “Back-to-School Wish List” campaign Tuesday that includes an Amazon wish list.

CISG is a dropout prevention organization that works directly inside schools, building relationships with students to keep them in schools. CISG says it is designed to ensure every student is fully prepared and equipped for the classroom.

CISG says the Amazon wish lists include essential school supplies that our students need to succeed. The items on the list include notebooks, backpacks, shoes and hygiene supplies.

“Preparing for the new school year is crucial for our students, and with the support of our community, we can ensure they start off on the right foot,” said Leyla Compani, Chief Philanthropy Officer at CISGA. “Every donation makes a difference in a student’s life.”

Those who wish to contribute can visit www.cisga.org/cisgawishlists for more information.
