Maple Heights, OH. The Community Life and Education Committee appreciates all residents, business owners, and stakeholders as the summer takes hold of the warm weather. It's summer, and they are eager to celebrate great happenings in the city: music in the park, the splash park, and the community festival on the city's west side.

On Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 12 noon to 3:30 pm, the committee will host its annual "Family Fun Day" at Benhoff Ave off of Dunham. There will be live music and a band. Families will enjoy games, vendors, food, arts and crafts. They are welcome to bring lawn chairs.

"Family Fun Day will be great for the entire family. We have live music by the "LeLa Blues" Band, and DJ "Brown on Cleveland" will be there. We are urging all residents to come out. The weather will be beautiful. They can bring their lawn chairs, relax, enjoy the sun, connect with neighbors, and meet other community members. There will be something for everyone," says Councilwoman and Chair of the Committee, Dana D. Anderson.

The City of Maple Heights is moving in the right direction. They are bridging the gap between residents and their elected and public officials. Mayor Annette Blackwell and other officials will be present to meet residents and enjoy the festivities.

"Saturday's Family Fun Day will be a blast. This event will serve as a platform for residents to unite and connect, fostering mutual opportunity to meet family, friends, local business owners, members of the administration, and city officials," added Councilwoman Anderson.
