Fox News cut away from Kimberly Guilfoyle’s speech at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday to interview a dog in the audience.

After Donald Trump Jr’s fiancée was introduced to the stage, Fox News quickly cut away to the network’s man on the street , Johnny Belisario , as he interviewed delegates and attendees in the audience.

Belisario acted jokingly with several attendees before the camera panned to a dog in the audience.

“And we have a dog over here. First dog delegate. How are you feeling?” asked Belisario as he held the microphone up to the animal, who was not the first canine to appear at this year’s RNC.

Belisario then mocked, “ Kristi Noem was the other night, so I think you should be good .”

The Fox News interviewer continued to speak to members of the audience as Guilfoyle’s speech could be heard faintly in the background.

The network then cut to its panel of hosts, where Sean Hannity proceeded to interview Eric Trump about his wife’s own RNC speech the night before.

Unlike CNN, which aired the majority of Guilfoyle’s speech on Wednesday evening, Fox News did not air any part of it.

During her speech, Guilfoyle spoke about Saturday’s assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump .

“I know that God has put an armor of protection over Donald Trump,” she said. “We are all reminded that love for our nation and the beauty of life itself transcends all hatred and political divisions. I stand before you tonight, more convinced than ever, this is the most important election in our lifetime.”
