Who Is Naomi from 'Claim to Fame' Related To?: An Investigation

Step aside Sherlock Holmes! This season, I will be doing my darnedest to figure out the secret identities of the Claim to Fame contestants. The show's premise is simple enough: eleven contestants enter a Hollywood mansion, each is related to a A-list celebrity. The person who can keep their relative's identity a secret for the longest wins!

As I'm watching each week, I'll be cataloging the information we learn along the way and attempting to piece together the clues to determine the relative of each contestant.Spoilers for all episodes that have aired in the main post, plus a separate spoilers section for what internet sleuths have discovered outside the show. Here's everything we have learned about Naomi and my predictions:

Who is Naomi's Claim to Fame celebrity relative?

Episode 2 clues

We didn't get much new about Naomi this episode other than Gracie Lou hazarding a guess that she's probably related to Molly Ringwald. While not super clear, it's also possible that the "chastity" clue in the canoeing challenge was connected to her as her character is a virgin in Sixteen Candles .

However, it's also possible that one of the following clues from the canoeing challenge relates to his relative instead: alleyoop, alimony, gemini, giraffe, maraca, valkyrie

Episode 1 clues

Two truths and a lie:

My celebrity relative is my: COUSIN
My celebrity relative is best known for being an: SINGER
The biggest award my celebrity relative has won: YOUNG ARTIST AWARD

Gracie Lou also pulled Naomi's clue in the Wine Cellar. While we haven't got a full clean reading on the show, the clue read as: a bra + the letter "T" + a backpack + a princess tiara + an "in" symbol + a club + 4 tea and croissant images.

I would hazard a guess that this means "Brat Pack princess in club for breakfast."

The other contestants' best guess

Molly Ringwald

Gracie Lou seemingly had sniffed out that Naomi was related to Molly Ringwald. HOWEVER, with her now eliminated, it remains to be seen if she shared Naomi's wine cellar clue with anyone else.

Parade 's prediction for celebrity relative

After just one episode, I'm nearly positive that Naomi is Molly Ringwald's cousin. The Wine Cellar clue references her being the "princess" in The Breakfast Club and Ringwald's biggest award is a Young Artist Award as she never landed an Emmy or Oscar. The singer section of the two truths and a lie must be the lie. While Gracie Lou might be too young to know The Breakfast Club , this will be VERY easy for someone older to figure out, so I can't imagine Naomi is long for this game.

So far nothing from the internet has surfaced regarding Naomi's connection to Molly Ringwald, but the show has basically given us everything we need.
