Tom Brady didn’t want Terrell Owens back in the gridiron.

On Jan. 2, 2022, wide receiver Antonio Brown infamously walked out shirtless on Brady and the Buccaneers during their Week 17 game against the Jets.

Owens, the Pro Football Hall of Famer, saw this — along with Brown’s subsequent cut from the team — and approached Brady, proposing that he fill in the gap, the ex-NFLer said on the “The Bubba Dub Show” released on Wednesday.

The then-48-year-old — 12 years removed from the NFL — was met with radio silence.

“Tom Brady ignored me, bro,” Owens said on the show. “I reached out to him through Randy [Moss] and a couple of other people, you know this dude really ignored me, bro.”

Owens, now 50, pleaded his case that he was a suitable candidate for superstar quarterback, stating that if he had been acquired, they could’ve hoisted the Super Bowl trophy.

The Bucs fell short of winning a second straight title that year, falling to the Rams in the second round.

    Owens, though, was left rudderless.

The five-time All-Pro was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018, but not even his 15,934 receiving yards and 153 touchdowns — not to mention his six Pro Bowls — led to a response from Brady.

“Just shows you how, like, the lack of respect is,” Owens added, “but then when they get in front of you they want to act like they respect you.”
