Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest episode 2 recap

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest episode 2, “Dragon’s Sea,” begins with Natsu, Gray, and others arriving at Ermina. They enter a hotel called Hotel Journey, where they meet a fish. The fish, Kashima, begins talking to them, taking them by surprise.

Later, Kashima assumes a human form and introduces himself as the hotel’s manager. He leaves the guest unattended and rushes to his date with a shark called Sharkette. Before leaving, he asks his guests to drink the potion kept in their rooms to survive in the town.

The episode reveals that the beverage allows humans to breathe underwater when the town is submerged in water. Everyone except Gray enjoys their stay as they swim underwater and fraternize with various fish.

However, the team learns that Kashima is Mercphobia’s underling. When Kashima learns that Natsu’s team is in town to defeat Mercphobia, he alerts the other fish, prompting a brawl. Later, Natsu and co disguise themselves as fish and witness a captive human, Kiria.

Kiria defeats a sea creature and reveals herself as a Dragon Eater from a fifth-generation dragon-slaying guild called Diabolos. Frustrated with the humans, Mercphobia arrives to confront them.
