BMW brought not one but two new M5s at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Speed Yellow M5 highlights the vast offerings of the BMW Individual program while the Frozen Deep Grey model showcases the possibilities of the standard color palette. To elevate the exclusivity of their new super sedan, BMW has announced that up to 150 special colors will be available for the 2025 BMW M5 G90 generation.

Aside from the M135 and X3 M50 we’ve already highlighted, the M4 CS showed up as well. In fact, the meanest all-wheel-drive G82 of them all celebrated its dynamic debut up the famous hill climb course.

The 2011 Rocketman was rumored to morph into a production vehicle that would’ve been more faithful to the MINI name. As you may recall, the concept was engineered to accommodate three-cylinder combustion engines. However, subsequent reports about a road-going vehicle speculated the entry-level model would be an EV. It ultimately didn’t happen, but the idea of a true MINI hasn’t been completely abandoned.

Porsche production manager Albrecht Reimold tells Automobilewoche that the 718 lineup, comprised of the Boxster and Cayman, will end production in 2025. Porsche has already been forced to retire the 718 twins in Europe due to more stringent cybersecurity regulations (and the Macan along with it). More stringent emissions requirements across the pond would have done the pair in at some point as it is. The 718’s electric replacement is underway, and while Reimold didn’t share further details on the upcoming models, it’s hard to imagine Porsche will leave much of a gap between the end of 718 production and the next model’s introduction.
