A specific encounter during the second electric episode of The Bachelorette has viewers crying setup, asserting it's evidence that the reality TV show's drama is scripted and staged .

The episode was jam-packed with intense skirmishes between some of the contestants, more prominently, Devin Strader was at loggerheads with both Thomas Nguyen and Aaron Erb over Jenn Tran . Devin's ongoing feud with Aaron - which spread to social media - caused concern among veteran viewers, many began suspecting that Aaron was strategically placed by the producers.

Nevertheless, some fans now speculate they've spotted clues indicating that all conflicts between the lads - that sparked inflammatory comments, taunts, and even involved props from both sides at various times - were completely fabricated.

Viewers shared their observations on social media platforms, reports the Express US . The main event that led fans to question the authenticity was when Aaron handed Devin a book on "Self-growth". A similar gesture was earlier shown towards his own brother Noah in the same series.

Yet, the primary red flag was raised when a Google search for the book titled Principles for Self-Growth by Dr. Brandon O'Conner illustrated that it seemingly doesn't exist. "There's no way Bachelor producers didn't plan this," one user commented on X (formerly Twitter). "That book scene between Devin and Aaron is giving staged...those two are likely cool irl now," another chimed in.

"If I had a nickel for every time one man gives another man a book on emotional intelligence, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice," a third observer pointed out. "These guys going after Devin for 'interrupting' the group date as if producers didn't set the whole thing up, as they do every season to manufacture fake drama," another viewer commented.

Despite the tension, Devin, Aaron, and Thomas all secured roses, ensuring their journey continues into week three.
