The popular Thai BL series We Are released its finale episode 16 on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on channel GMM 25. The show centered around four couples and their journey through friendship, love, and more. The four couples in the university romance drama are Phum ( Pond Naravit Lertratkosum ) and Peem ( Phuwin Tangsakyuen ), Q ( Winny Thanawin Pholcharoenrat ) and Toey ( Satang Kittiphop Sereevichayasawat ), Tan ( Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran ) and Khaofang ( Boom Tharatorn Jantharaworakarn ), and Chain ( Marc Natarit Worakornlertsith ) and Pun ( Poon Mitpakdee ).

Episode 16 of We Are sees the boys focusing on their studies as they prepare for the final exam. After the exams, they plan a trip to the beach to celebrate. Q suggests they can go to Krabi, so they won’t have to pay for the hotel as his dad has a resort there. Later, when they get there, the couples get their separate rooms. Pun jokes that they won’t have to sleep on top of each other as they did at Peem’s house.

After arriving in the room, Phum showers Peem with kisses. Meanwhile, Toey admires the stunning beach view from Q’s exclusive personal room, which isn’t up for reservation. Later, the friends play games and enjoy their time at the beach. Furthermore, Toey tells Q they aren’t lovey-dovey like Tan and Fang. After Q teases him, Toey says he likes him regardless of his personality. The former thanks him and says he’s happy to have the latter by his side. Toey replies that he’s happy too that Q doesn’t disappear anymore. The two kiss after the latter promises he won’t go away anymore.

The next day, the boys head out into the sea on a boat. Later, Tan rests on Fang’s lap after getting seasick due to the boat ride. Chain teases the latter and says he’s dying soon. To that, Tan teases back and replies, “You’re dying soon, but he doesn’t even realize you like him.” Pun still doesn’t get the hint and says he likes penguins. Elsewhere, Phum asks Fang about his bag as he gets possessive over it. The latter replies that it isn’t about the price but about the person who bought it and makes it important to him. Fang then admits he loves Tan the most, while the latter hears the conversation from behind. Tan then showers him with love.

Phuwin Tangsakyuen gets emotional about his friends

Peem gets emotional as he sits with his longtime friends—Q, Tan, Chain, and Pun. He says, “We’re almost done with our fourth year. I don’t know how many more chances we’ll get to travel together like this.” Tan then says he’s certain the four will continue to sleep over at Peem’s place even after the university ends. Pun says he’s super happy, and Chain agrees. Q then asks the boys why they’re getting emotional. He adds that it’s just graduation and not like they’re “dying.” After Q teases him, an emotional Peem says he’s happy to have them as his friends.

After playing in the water, the couples head to their rooms. Tan admires Fang as he steps out of the shower. The two then share a kiss and get intimate. Meanwhile, Q and Toey also share romantic moments in their room. Elsewhere, Phum and Peem spend their time at the beach at night. The former shares that after the trip, he’ll try reconnecting with his dad and asks the latter to join him. Phum and Peem then thank each other for becoming a part of each other’s lives.

Phuwin Tangsakyuen meets Pond Naravit’s parents

The episode further shows Phum’s mother asking Peem to teach arts to students at her foundation. As the former’s father joins, he asks how his university is going. Phum replies to him this time after refusing to talk to him in the past. Peem then joins the family for a meal. Meanwhile, Phum and his father begin to reconcile. Later, Peem appreciates his boyfriend for doing a good job.

Furthermore, Q and Toey visit the cafe where their story began. The former sings for him, and the latter says, via a sticky note, that he wants to hear him sing every day. Later, the boys get together at Peem’s place for dinner . Afterward, Chain finally confesses he likes Pun and asks him to date him. The pair then kissed in front of their friends.

How does We Are The Series end?

We Are series’ ending shows Peem displaying artwork at his own gallery as Phum congratulates him. The latter says he’ll always be by the former’s side. The rest of the group joins in too as they celebrate their friend’s achievement. We Are ends on a heartwarming note as the four couples end up together.
