    Home sold at more than $3 million tops Henderson County home sales for quarter two

    With the close of second-quarter home sales last month, the Times-News is taking a look at the top 10 most expensive homes sold in Henderson County during that period.

    Data is provided by Canopy MLS, a realtor service used to track house listings.

    These homes vary in age, with the oldest built in 1865 and the newest in 2022, and offer a variety of amenities, including a koi pond complete with waterfalls.

    1421 Solomon Circle in Hendersonville - $3.24 million

    The most expensive home sold in Henderson County this quarter has five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms in a more than 7,000 square foot house on a more than three-acre lot. Built in 2002, the home also features a three-car garage.

    According to Realtor.com, the home was originally built by the owner of Bluestone Construction for his own use.

    “A massive stone fireplace and timber trusses create the perfect lodge atmosphere in the great room with a wall of windows,” the listing reads. “Boasting exceptional craftmanship and luxurious features throughout. A kitchen that would wow any chef with center island with a custom inlay.”

    501 High Road Overlook in Hendersonville - $3 million

    This 2022 build features seven bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms on a more than six-acre lot. The home itself is just over 5,400 square feet.

    According to the Realtor.com listing, the home “blends modern farmhouse charm with stunning mountain living” and is only five minutes from downtown Hendersonville. The home features four fireplaces and a game room with a wet bar on the lower level.

    The three-car garage has a full apartment that can be used for guests or rentals.

    400 Ray Hill Road in Mills River - $2.05 million

    This eight bedroom and eight-and-a-half-bathroom home was built in 2009 and sits on a six-acre lot.

    The home was sold fully furnished and was marketed as “an incredible opportunity for a corporate retreat, family compound or short-term rental investment,” according to Realtor.com.

    316 Silent Rise Lane in Flat Rock - $1.895 million

    Built in 2005, this home features three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms on a nearly three-acre lot.

    The home is in the gated Kenmure golf course community.

    73 Prickly Briar Road in Hendersonville - $1.75 million

    This three bedroom and three-and-a-half-bathroom home on 1.25 acres was built in 2008 and inspired by England’s Cotswold region, according to Realtor.com.

    Features of the home include a koi pond with two waterfalls, a gardener’s cottage with running water and a 2,300 bottle wine cellar.

    531 Hagen Drive in Hendersonville - $1.645 million

    Built in 2003, this home sits on a single acre lot and hosts four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

    The home is in the Champion Hills golf community and features and open floor plan.

    1109 White Pine Drive in Hendersonville - $1.55 million

    Built in 1865, this home is the oldest on the list and features seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms on a more than four-acre lot.

    According to Realtor.com, the home was built by banker William J. Davis and sits adjacent to the developing Ecusta Trail.

    The home still features the “magnificent” original staircase.

    105 Ingleside Court in Flat Rock - $1.45 million

    This 1997 build features three bedroom and four and a half bathrooms on a nearly two-acre lot.

    According to the Realtor.com listing, views can be seen anywhere from 10 to 20 miles away.

    The home features two office spaces, one of the main level and another on the lower level. Outside areas include an open deck, lower deck and a screened balcony.

    100 Thornhill Lane in Hendersonville - $1.425 million

    This three bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home sits on more than two acres and was built in 2004.

    The Realtor.com listing said the outdoor features, including the grounds and landscaping, “would be any gardeners dream.”

    383 Daniel Circle Drive in Mills River - $1.31 million

    Built just two years ago in 2022, this home sits on just under one acre and features three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms.

    The one-level home has two fireplaces, one indoor and another on the outdoor screened-in deck.
