Kourtney Kardashian revealed her secret family heartbreak as her son Mason , 14, refused to spend quality time in Australia with his new step-dad Travis Barker .
The new mom - who welcomed baby son Rocky in November - arrived in Sydney, Australia with her children Penelope and Reign on this week's episode of The Kardashians. The 45-year-old reality star was determined to travel Down Under to join her husband Travis on his tour with Blink-182.
But she was left heartbroken when her oldest son Mason - who she shares with ex Scott Disick - refused to travel with them and instead stayed home with his dad. Kourtney admitted the arrangement "makes me really sad" but said she was determined to make "the most of every second" with her other children after spending 40 days at home with her newborn.
Speaking in her confessional, Kourtney said: "I am in Australia, we made it. We’ve been having the best time. Travis is touring to different cities in Australia for about a week, but because I was on bedrest before, and then having a newborn at home , I haven’t really had any outings with my other kids, so really I wanted to stay in Sydney."

Meanwhile, Kourtney and Travis The couple have become known for their public make-out sessions and never pass up a chance to share a steamy kiss. However, it seems their kids are growing tired of their actions, and Kourtney's nine-year-old son Reign Disick has taken a stand.
The family was filmed enjoying a luxury boat trip in Australia and Kourtney and Travis relaxed inside the boat, with the Poosh founder sitting on her husband's lap. Kourtney and Travis were sharing a passionate kiss when Reign burst into the room and exclaimed: "Mom! Stop making out with Travis, bro. Like, didn't you just have a baby? Don’t get another one this quick."
Kourtney and Travis simply laughed at Reign as they continued to cuddle. Travis then moved to kiss Kourtney's neck as Reign shouted: "Are you giving her a hickey now?"
Travis was surprised and said it was just a "gentle kiss". Kourtney added: "I just missed him." Speaking in a confessional, the mom-of-four then explained why she thinks it's important for her to be romantic with Travis around her kids.

"I think it's a beautiful thing to see parents, especially ones that just had a new baby, be affectionate and loving. There's nothing wrong with that," she said.
Kourtney and Travis have a big, blended family and welcomed their first child together, Rocky Thirteen Barker, in November last year. Kourtney shares Mason, Penelope and Reign with her ex Scott Disick, while Travis shares son Landon, daughter Alabama and his stepdaughter Atiana with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
Kourtney recently admitted she feels "pulled in different directions" as she tries to spend time with all of her kids. "I have kids all different age ranges - preteen, teenage, adult and infants - so I really do try to set aside one-on-one time with each of my kids. I don't wanna miss anything. It's like a feeling of being pulled in different directions, like wanting to be everything to everyone," she said on The Kardashians.
