WWE's Dom Mysterio's hilarious response to his daddy getting COD love

One of wrestling's best storylines of the early 2000s was the late, great Eddie Guerrero's custody battle with the fireplug Luchador Rey Mysterio. That child, of course, grew up to become Dirty Dom Mysterio, part of The Judgement Day faction who is currently embroiled in the WWE's most intriguing storyline, the love triangle with Rhea "Mommy" Ripley and Liv Morgan.

Morgan has been diabolical in her trying to tear down TJD after knocking Ripley out of action for several months, absolutely owning her storyline to the point she's soared up And New! Wrestling's pound-for-pound rankings. Mysterio claims to still want to be with Ripley, and has never wavered from his disdain for his dad, so Wednesday's announcement that the two of them are part of the next Season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was too much to keep the emotion bottled in.

Mysterio the younger took to Twitter to take a hilarious shot at his paternal parental unit.

Mysterio did however also retweet Playstation's post featuring Ripley's inclusion in the game, so it's obviously still love there as he continues to try to right the ship that he's allowed to be steered into the peer. The drama will continue to play out over the next couple episodes of Monday Night RAW as things careen into SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio.
