On Wednesday, Caitlin Clark created another WNBA milestone. But true to form, Aliyah Boston jumped it to praise her for it before Caitlin could dismiss the achievement.

By all accounts, Caitlin Clark doesn’t really shout from the rooftops about her achievements. She usually tries to play it cool and goes on about her day. And her teammate won’t let her do it. When Caitlin dropped the first rookie triple-double in WNBA history, Aliyah praised her, while Caitlin was just seemingly happy about getting the win that day.

Caitlin now owns the WNBA record for most assists in a game (19), and you guessed it: Aliyah was having none of Caitlin trying to downplay the whole thing. Before Caitlin could say a word about it, she told media members, “She’s going to say it means nothing, but I think it’s pretty cool. I think that’s pretty cool. So, sorry.”
