Big Sean had the best response after a deranged Ye fan allegedly leaked songs from his upcoming album online.
On Wednesday night, July 17, a forum user by the name of bigseandon811 reportedly dropped a link to an incomplete version of Sean's anticipated project. According to Variety , the leaked project has 14 tracks including collaborations with Nas , Charlie Wilson and Brent Faiyaz . The fan claimed Sean's album is called Feelings & Random Thots , but also said Better You Than Me is the alternate title. After the project made the rounds on social media, Sean acknowledged the leak while he teased new music with The Alchemist .
"I’m a just start droppin this new music before they leak it all 😂 BIG SEAN x THE ALCHEMIST soon 🔥🔥🔥🔥," Sean wrote.
The alleged leaker apparently had a vendetta against Sean. In screenshots posted to social media, he described his anger toward Sean after the Detroit rapper seemingly dissed Ye in his new On The Radar Radio freestyle. “I had to switch the home team ’cause they committed treason,” he rapped. “N***as looking for engagement like they got their knee bent/I got better things to do than to find someone to beef with.” After some fans thought he was firing shots at Kendrick Lamar , DJ Hed confirmed Sean was actually referring to "another Gemini." Ye's birthday is June 8.
“Since he wanna disrespect Ye so much, here’s the album, f**k him and his whole team,” the leaker wrote. “Ye told me to leak it.”
There's zero confirmation that Ye himself was behind the leak. However, if true, it would add fuel to the friction between the former G.O.O.D Music artists. The real Sean Don clearly didn't forget about the time Ye said signing him was "the worst thing" he ever did during his appearance on Drink Champs in 2021. During his freestyle, Sean appeared to make other references to Ye including the matching tattoos he got with Lil Uzi Vert and Steve Lacy .
“Man, this industry is terrible, I can’t even vouch/I’ve seen grown men get matching tattoos for the clout," he rapped.
Look out for Big Sean's official album coming soon.
