New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers.

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton recently appeared on the " All Facts No Brakes " podcast with Keyshawn Johnson and dished some high praise toward rookie teammate Malik Nabers.

Slayton said there was one particular three-time Pro Bowler that the 20-year-old wideout reminded him of.

"(Nabers has) looked good," Slayton said. "Honestly in my opinion he reminds me of Ja’Marr Chase, it’s like a clone. Malik’s about six-foot, they’re about the same size."

The Giants veteran is right in his assessment, as Chase is listed at six feet even and 201 pounds, while Nabers is listed at six feet and 200 pounds.

Slayton continued with the comparison, noting that both LSU products move similarly on the field.

"Dimensionally they’re about the same, his body movements, it’s actually kind of weird watching him move around. He’s really talented, he’s got good hands. For us, our system, the biggest hiccup as a rookie is trying to get down all these terminologies (head coach Brian Daboll) has for us. Once he gets all that down, you know I think he’ll have no problem having success," Slayton said.

New York selected Nabers with the sixth overall pick in April's NFL Draft. He led the SEC in receptions in each of the last two seasons with 72 and 89, respectively, and paced the conference in receiving yards in 2023 with 1,569.

Slayton was the Giants' leading pass-catcher last season but only finished with 770 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 50 catches.
