“Community Spotlight” with PHL17’s Jennifer Lewis-Hall highlights the work that nonprofits and community organizations are doing in the Delaware Valley.

This week’s Community Spotlight segment features an organization that focuses on nutrition and uses what the organization says is, “the power of food as medicine.”

MANNA , which stands for Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance, is a nonprofit founded thirty-four years ago during the AIDS epidemic. The organization provides “medically tailored” meals for people with a focus on helping to improve their health and quality of life.

Our Jennifer Lewis-Hall tells us about their initiatives and reach in the community and how not only the organization is making a difference but how volunteers are too.
