ScHoolboy Q thinks his show was canceled due to the ripple effects of Kendrick Lamar and Drake's beef.

On Wednesday night, July 17, the TDE signee took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to inform his Canadian fans that his tour stop in Toronto was canceled the day before he was supposed to hit the stage. Q was scheduled to perform at History, which is a venue that's co-owned by Drizzy, to kick off his "Blue Lips Weekends Tour."

“THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO… CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING,” he wrote.

"TOP was just wit Wayne & Baby smH," he continued. "partynextdoor just Had a sHow @ tHe palladium 🤦🏾‍♂️ if we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry…"

Q was referring to TDE's founder Anthony "Top" Griffith, who recently attended the YouTube Gala that honored Birdman and Slim for the 30th anniversary of Cash Money Records . Top was able to celebrate the occasion without any issues. OVO signee PARTYNEXTDOOR was also able to bring his tour to the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. The latter half of Q's post was apparently misconstrued as a threat by some fans, which prompted him to offer some clarity.

"I neva said “ ima kill sumbody” im saying if we wanted to crack it off we could’ve smH," he wrote. "Rap and move on playin tuff gon get sumbody Hurt it’s all good 😂 ima soccer dad."

The Blue Lips rapper acknowledged the comedy surrounding the situation. Q stood by his friend Kendrick Lamar's side before, during and after his highly-publicized beef with Drake . He appeared as a special guest during K.Dot's victory lap at "The Pop Out" on Juneteenth , and made a cameo in the "Not Like Us" music video . After the cancellation, Q jokingly reconsidered his decision to appear in the video.

"Actually I get it," he wrote in a separate post. "Nvm tHis s**t Lokey Hilarious 😂… Iono wHy dot put me in tHat f**king video 🤦🏾‍♂️"

As of this report, History in Toronto has not offered an explanation for the last-minute cancelation. See what else ScHoolboy Q had to say about the situation below.
