However, that didn’t stop the state of California from slapping The Valley star with a massive tax lien over their $1.9 million house. She’s not living there right now, but that doesn’t stop her from owing taxes. It’s going to take a lot of Jenny Craig ads to pay this off.

Jax Taylor isn’t covering the tax, so Brittany has been dealt a $35,000 tax lien

Ever since the former lovebirds separated, Brittany has been transparent about her finances. She said they have always had separate bank accounts , so there were no changes there. He pays the mortgage. She pays everything else, but apparently, that didn’t include the property taxes. Whoops! Now, she’s left on the hook with a big, nasty bill.

According to Daily Mail , the California Franchise Tax Board filed a lien on their home on June 12, 2024, for $35,239.88. That amount is going to build up interest in fees until she’s able to pay it off. Meanwhile, she’s sitting in a short-term rental property waiting for the cameras to go up on The Valley Season 2 .

Although Brittany has been forthcoming about most of her financial matters, her representatives declined to comment on her tax case. It’s a sensitive subject, but she’s in good company. Tax problems have been the downfall of plenty of other reality stars.

The news of Brittany’s tax liens comes just days after we were celebrating her for thriving in her life after Jax . She’s no longer throwing up and is glowing every time you see her. We’re hopeful that once this tax situation gets settled, she’ll be back to slaying in no time.
