Evers proclaims 'Culver's Day' in Wisconsin

MADISON (WKBT) -- Governor Tony Evers proclaimed July 18 as "Culver's Day" celebrating the beloved Wisconsin-based restaurant chain's 40th anniversary.

"It is an honor to help celebrate and recognize 40 years of Culver’s, a family-owned and operated business that started right here in Wisconsin and has since grown into the nationally recognized and beloved household name it is today," said Gov. Evers.

Culver's was founded on this day in 1984, with the first location opening in Sauk City. Since then, they've grown to have nearly 1,000 locations across 26 states.
