Ford has announced a shift in its manufacturing strategy at its plant in Oakville, Ontario, swapping EV production for Super Duty trucks. This change comes after Ford had already postponed the launch of its planned three-row electric SUVs at Oakville Assembly facility from 2025 to 2027, citing slower growth in demand for electric vehicles. According to Reuters, the Blue Oval remains committed to the model and is still planning for a 2027 launch but has not disclosed the new location for their production.
