Eric Kripke, head writer and creator of The Boys , took to social media ahead of the release of season four in June to let fans know that season five has the go-ahead.

Yes. The Boys was renewed for season five at Prime Video in June.
Sadly, season five will be the final chapter in the story, Eric Kripke announced via X (formerly known as Twitter) in June, where he said he was "Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax."
When Is The Boys Season Five Coming?
A release date for season five of The Boys is yet to be confirmed.
However, the series has made a habit out of making fans wait an agonizing two years between seasons.
Season one hit Prime Video in 2019, season two in 2020, season three in 2022, and – most recently – season four in 2024. So it may be 2026 before fans get to see what happens next.
